Running from the Nightmare

Running from the Nightmare

By Craig Wilson

I am running down the streets of the Downtown District.
A Nightmare from Mary Skelter is chasing after me.
The streets are too dark, and I cannot find the exit.
I run, screaming, as I hear the Nightmare cackling.
I am an ordinary man, and I cannot defend myself.
The Nightmare is close by, wherever I try and run.
It sends me down a dead end and my phone saves me.

The End

The above story is a loose adaptation of a dream I had. If there is anything you would like to ask, feel free to leave a comment, and thank you for reading.
