Death
of a Phone
By
Craig Wilson
I
wake up in bed and realise something is off.
My
alarm didn’t go off, but I’m sure I set it.
I
check my mobile, but it isn’t turned on.
I
then realise the phone has died on me.
I
try to turn on it, but it doesn’t wake up.
I search
the entire house for a charger.
Nothing
seems to revive the contraption.
Yet,
my phone’s alarm goes off for real.
I
check it and wonder if am really awake.
The
End
The above story is a loose
adaptation of a dream I had. If there is anything you would like to ask, feel
