Closing
Time
By
Craig Wilson
It
is closing time at the local charity shop.
I
want to head home, but I can’t leave.
There
are two customers in the shop.
My
colleagues and I force big smiles.
The
two customers take their sweet time.
Eventually,
the customers leave the store.
I
head into the coat room and I sign out.
I
put on my jacket and I leave the store.
Somehow,
I leap right out of the dream.
The
End
The above story is a loose
adaptation of a dream I had. If there is anything you would like to ask, feel
free to leave a comment, and thank you for reading.
