The School Ceremony

The School Ceremony

By Craig Wilson

I’m running late to school and I’m huffing and puffing.

There’s an important school award ceremony going on.

I’m rushing around the house, collecting all of my stuff.

I run outside the house, hoping I can make it to school.

My late dog, Molly, follows me all the way to school.

I arrive at the school, but something doesn’t add up.

The school somehow looks both modern and classic.

And yet, I look at myself and I’m still a young lad.

I check my lunchbox and I realise that it is empty.

I head into the school building and leave the dream.

The End

The above story is a loose adaptation of a dream I had. If there is anything you would like to ask, feel free to leave a comment, and thank you for reading.
