Assignment Meltdown
By Craig Wilson
The smoke clears, and I find myself in my home.
This place bears no resemblance to my home.
My brother barges into my room, pleading for help.
He has to remind me that our assignments are due.
I panic as well. I lend him some extra printer paper.
I set up my laptop and start typing away. I sigh hard.
My assignment entails writing a 500-word essay.
I need to make sure it's proofread by morning.
I type my assignment, but the words look odd.
My alarm shrieks. Fortunately, I leave the dream.
The End
The above story is a loose adaptation of a dream I had. If there is anything you would like to ask, feel free to leave a comment, and thank you for reading.
