A Sudden Collapse
By Craig Wilson
The smoke clears. I see I'm at work.
Strangely, this feels lucid to me.
I am dressed in my work uniform.
I shrug. I do not argue; I just clean.
Yet, as I clean, I feel extremely dizzy.
I soon collapsed. I feel exhausted.
A staff member soon locates me.
The woman places me on a couch.
The woman nurses me back to health.
I can feel myself gradually improving.
Of course, I thank the nice woman.
However, the woman quickly vanishes.
Was that woman an actual person?
My phone alarm wakes me up.
The End
The above story is a loose adaptation of a dream I had. If there is anything you would like to ask, feel free to leave a comment, and thank you for reading.
