Toy-Testing
By Craig Wilson
The smoke clears, and I am not in my room.
I find myself at the rear of a charity shop.
My supervisor reminds me of what's going on.
Apparently, I’m supposed to test some toys.
I shrug my shoulders. I get to the testing.
Many of these toys look like classics to me.
Play-testing these toys makes me nostalgic.
Heck, I feel like I’m a young child again.
Also, I find some toys from my childhood.
I can sense delight welling up in my heart.
The alarm goes off, and I exit the dream.
The End
The above story is a loose adaptation of a dream I had. If there is anything you would like to ask, feel free to leave a comment, and thank you for reading.
