Inspection Day

The smoke has cleared, and I’m not home.
Looking around, I realize I am at work.
Strangely, the workplace appears different.
One of my colleagues approaches me.
I'm told there's a huge inspection today.
So we have to clean the huge workplace.
I take my time as well. I whistle a little tune.
It's difficult since I hear a clock ticking away.
I feel as if something is timing me right now.
This makes me want to do the job faster.
I do all of my responsibilities. I exhale.
My alarm goes off, and I exit the dream.
