Bird Saviour

Bird Saviour

By Craig Wilson

The smoke clears. I’m not inside my house.

In fact, I don’t feel like myself. I’m smaller.

I look around and finally notice my reflection.

To my surprise, I'm a bird. I also caw loudly.

I do not recollect being a bird. I panic as well.

Not far away, I hear a teenage girl screaming.

Some muggers are attacking this little girl.

So, I fly and scare away these bad muggers.

The teenage girl sees me as her saviour.

I am, of course, grateful. I pledge to help her.

My alarm goes off, and I abruptly wake up.

The End

The above story is a loose adaptation of a dream I had. If there is anything you would like to ask, feel free to leave a comment, and thank you for reading.
