Ghostly Memories
By Craig Wilson
The smoke clears, and I'm not in my house.
I look around and see I’m inside a clinic.
As always, I don't recall visiting here.
Someone reminds me I’m here to work.
I'm dressed in the casual cleaning outfit.
Instead of arguing back, I get to work.
I gather my equipment and get started.
Something seems odd in my workplace.
There are ghosts wandering around here.
They’re likely memories from the past.
Patients and medical workers run around.
Voices of distressed patients surround me.
I rush out of the clinic, leave my dream.
The End
The above story is a loose adaptation of a dream I had. If there is anything you would like to ask, feel free to leave a comment, and thank you for reading.
