Grandad’s Ring
By Craig Wilson
The smoke clears, and I am now at home.
However, this does not look like my pad.
Heck, I don't even resemble myself.
I'm a small child. This feels so odd.
My friends are here for a sleepover.
Of course, my friends fell asleep early.
So, I go talk to my old grandfather.
Grandad says he is really proud of me.
I receive my grandfather’s prized ring.
However, I don't think I can accept it.
Grandad thinks I should pass it on.
Curious, I end up going back to bed.
The alarm goes off, and I wake up.
The End
The above story is a loose adaptation of a dream I had. If there is anything you would like to ask, feel free to leave a comment, and thank you for reading.
