Caught in the Killer's Web

Caught in the Killer's Web

By Craig Wilson

It’s morning. The heavens have opened up.

There’re scratch marks on my window.

I take a pen and paper and get to work.

The markings reveal a mysterious number.

People hinder me from ringing the number.

Soon, I manage to ring the mystery number.

“Good luck, detective,” says the killer.

Then my phone’s alarm starts wailing.

I sit up in bed and I question everything.

The End

The above story is a loose adaptation of a dream I had. If there is anything you would like to ask, feel free to leave a comment, and thank you for reading.
