Life's A Sketch
By Craig Wilson
The smoke clears, and I find myself on a stage.
It turns out that I am in a fake café with people.
The people I am with say some witty remarks.
The audience laughs at our goofs and gaffes.
My life is a comedy sketch for people to enjoy.
I say some witty remarks and get some laughs.
When the red curtains close, we prepare the set.
We change locations and the furniture, too.
The audience cheer wildly when they see us.
My phone’s alarm goes off, and I wake up again.
The End
The above story is a loose adaptation of a dream I had. If there is anything you would like to ask, feel free to leave a comment, and thank you for reading.
