Late Night Brawl
By Craig Wilson
My father and I leave a small convenience store in town.
Oddly, this city looks a lot different. It looks American.
My father and I encounter some random thugs, though.
We have to fight the thugs and make our way home.
This feels a lot like we’re stuck in a beat 'em up game.
Heck, the way we move, and fight, seems rather odd.
We wind up racking points and finding health items.
The weapons we don’t pick up somehow vanish, too.
When we move onto the next scene, the dream ends.
The End
The above story is a loose adaptation of a dream I had. If there is anything you would like to ask, feel free to leave a comment, and thank you for reading.
