Cleaning Frenzy
By Craig Wilson
The smoke clears. I find myself outside.
I don’t recall leaving the house, though.
I’m wearing some snazzy grey overalls.
A woman appears with cleaning equipment.
The woman hands over the cleaning stuff.
It seems I have to do some scrubbing work.
So, I get to work, but kind of go overboard.
I wind up cleaning the streets all over town.
The roads and the pathways sparkle.
I somehow have the energy to clean it all.
Naturally, my boss tells me I can stop.
My phone’s alarm goes off, and I wake up.
The End
The above story is a loose adaptation of a dream I had. If there is anything you would like to ask, feel free to leave a comment, and thank you for reading.
